NEW LIMITED EDITION CLOTHING LAUNCHED TO CELEBRATE 160 SHOWS

New limited edition clothing has been launched to celebrate 160 Great Yorkshire Shows.

Show director Charles Mills and family were the first to wear the new and exclusive range at their home farm in Appleton Roebuck.

Now on sale in Fodder and online, the collection includes a range of ladies and gents rugby tops, T-shirts, polos and caps.

A special edition t-shirt is also available for children, modelled by Luca Francisco aged 6.

All have a stylish, embroidered crest featuring Celebrating Yorkshire, circled by Ears of Wheat as well as the Yorkshire Born and Bred slogan.

There’s also 160thGreat Yorkshire Show mugs made by Moorland Pottery, on sale now.

Charles Mills said: “This is a big year for the Great Yorkshire Show and as part of our celebrations we’ve launched a new and exclusive range of merchandise. The range is selling fast, be sure to get yours while stocks last!”

The commemorative clothing has been launched to celebrate a very special Great Yorkshire Show this year. This will be the 160thGreat Yorkshire since the very first show in 1838.

Last week saw the biggest ever ticket launch with the unveiling of the GYSheifer – a galvanised steel sculpture of the Craven Heifer made by Whitby-based sculptor Emma Stothard.

The GYSheifer will pop up across Yorkshire in a specially designed Great Yorkshire Show truck before coming home to the showground ready for this year’s show on Tuesday 10 – Thursday 12 July 2018.

First stop was Yorkshire Sculpture Park last Friday and the next visit will be Malton Food Lovers Festival on Saturday May 26. The public is encouraged to post their selfies with #GYSheifer on Twitter. The best picture from each location will win a family ticket (2 adults & 3 children) worth £75 on the door, £65 in advance.
